TERROR AND FEAR
The Lord spoke to me as I was thinking on the terrorism which is flooding the world today. My only interest in this is in regard to what The Lord God Jehovah is saying in these affairs as they fit into His plans for this world in this day and hour. I hope that this message may give you deeper insight into this area of end-time events.
(Note: The word “Jehovah” is one of the personal names of the only True God, and we find it used often in The Bible. He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is therein. He is Father God. The word “God” is descriptive of who He is, but I choose to use His Personal Name throughout this message)
It is a fact that terrorism is taking hold in the world and people are becoming more afraid. The fruit of terrorism is fear, and the tools of terrorism are violence, intimidation and domination. If you look at the faces of people on television after acts of terrorism, you will see the fear in their hearts. If fear controls a person’s life then the person will live a life dominated by that fear, which then ultimately gives these terrorists the control which they are seeking to gain.
This is not God’s intended way for mankind. Fear is the opposite of FAITH and it is God’s plan for us to live by Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ who conquered satan, the one behind this move of terror and fear in the world today. Satan is attempting to destroy people’s natural faith to go about their daily lives with confidence and security. He has been able to do this through these descendents of Ishmael with their bitter hatred and violent natures. The only victory above this is in spiritual faith by placing our trust in Jesus Christ and the promises of God which we find in His Word, the Bible.
This terrorism which is manifesting in the world has probably never been seen in such aggressive and assertive behaviour as we are seeing today. Yes there have been many wars, but terrorism is not warfare. The dictionary describes “terrorism” in this way: “it results when a political group uses deliberate acts of armed violence to achieve or maintain their supremacy.”
We have to go to the very core of this wave of terror to understand what is happening. This terrorist movement on the earth today is actually not a political issue, nor is it a new thing. Its source is traced right back to Abraham and can only be understood as the Holy Spirit gives insight. This is not a new manifestation on the earth, but has been going on since the days of Abraham. It just happens that we are seeing a greater intensity of this terrorist movement today as satan’s opposition to the imminent Kingdom Day of Jesus Christ in this earth intensifies.
This terrorism is not political, but is actually SPIRITUAL WARFARE.
A BRIEF HISTORY
About 2000 years before Jesus came, Jehovah called Abraham and promised that he would become the father of many nations and that his seed would inherit the land of Palestine. In Genesis 15 you will read that He promised Abraham a son. Abraham’s wife Sarah was beyond child bearing age and she arranged that Abraham take her handmaid Hagar who bore Abraham a son who was named ISHMAEL. This was not the son of God’s promise to Abraham as he was to be born of Sarah which is what eventually happened miraculously when Sarah was 90 years of age. They called this son ISAAC who was the one to inherit the promise of God and the blessing of Abraham.
So there were 2 sons, which in writing about in Galatians 4, Paul describes in this way:
• ISAAC Born of Sarah called the Freewoman. He was Born by Promise. He is a type of The Jerusalem above which is free, the mother of us all, speaking of the GRACE of God. Isaac is a type of Christians, the “children of promise”.
• ISHMAEL Born of Hagar the Bondwoman. He was born of the flesh. He is a type of the bondage of religious legalism, or the law. He is the type of those in bondage of the flesh.
In Genesis 21 we read that Abraham threw a celebration for the naming of Isaac who was 13 years younger than his half-brother Ishmael. At this party, Ishmael was mocking Isaac, and when Sarah saw what he was doing she insisted that Abraham cast Ishmael and his mother Hagar out and send them into the wilderness.
Now, we need to read from Genesis16:7-14. The angel of the Lord is addressing Hagar before Ishmael is born and declares two important things to Hagar:
1. that she was pregnant and that of her seed would come a great multitude
2. that Ishmael would be a wild man and that his hand would be against every man, and every man’s hand against him.
After Ishmael was cast out with his mother he became a man of the desert wilderness with a hostile attitude towards other nations and people. There was bitter conflict between him and Isaac and this has continued through their descendants until this day.
Ishmael had 12 sons who became the founders of the Ishmaelite tribes which spread from Egypt to what we know today as Iraq. The Arabs today claim their descendancy from Ishmael.
In summary, we have the 2 sons of Abraham as follows:
• ISAAC born of the freewoman and inherited the promises of God. The Jewish people descended from the Isaac line, with the true God Jehovah as their God.
• ISHMAEL born of the bondwoman and cast out into the wilderness. He did not inherit the promises of Jehovah and his seed have made up the Arabian and Assyrian tribes.
Now we have seen that the covenant of promise went to Isaac, who had 2 sons Esau and Jacob. Isaac passed the blessing to Jacob who then had 12 sons heading the 12 tribes of Israel. Esau was rejected, and married a daughter of Ishmael and bore many sons who became princes in Palestine and established the nation of Edom. The Edomites lived in a country called Mount Seir as dwellers in caves. Their form of government resembled the modern Bedouin.
It is from the Ishmaelite/Edomite lines that the islamic line has descended and from the days of Ishmael until today, their hatred of Israel has been demonstrated in violence . Truly Ishmael and his sons have been wild men with their hands against nations exactly as The Lord told Hagar. Their hatred of Israel extends to any nation or person who supports Israel.
The current day Islamic line of Ishmael couple Christians with the Jews, and their hatred extends therefore to the western Christian world. They have a satanic belief that they will rid the world of Christianity.
The koran (xix 55) states that Ishmael was a messenger and prophet, and mohammed himself was a son of Ishmael through the line of Ishmael’s son Kedar. Ishmael’s descendants became pagan and remained so until they were brought back to islam by mohammed.
The Terror which we see in the world today is a manifestation of this ancient animosity and will not cease until it is dealt with under the Kingdom authority of Jesus Christ in the earth. It is the direct intention of these descendants of Ishmael to cause terror and fear upon the earth. I put politicians on notice that you will not defeat these people in the natural realm. You will not defeat this terrorism which has its root in the bitterness and hatred in Ishmael’s heart, and his seed still mocks the seed of Isaac as he did.
On the “60 Minutes” programme on 27th July 2005 in Melbourne, local muslim leaders were being interviewed and they stated that Australia was to become a muslim nation, and that the “true believers” of islam were against the western world. They declared that muslims and non-muslims will ever be divided. Islam has spread heavily in Europe, and in Holland the government has introduced means in an attempt to arrest this. One of the government members has been labelled an enemy of islam by the muslims who have declared that he must be beheaded. France has the largest islamic community in Europe where suburbs have been taken over in Paris. Non-muslims will not enter these suburbs for fear of being killed.
WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?
Simply that we are witnessing an attempt of satan to control the world by fear. We are seeing innocent people slaughtered as the forces of darkness flex their muscles of hatred and violence in the earth. The islamic seed of Ishmael are being used by satan to achieve his deluded ends. He hates them also but they are deceived. Satan is only using them for his own higher purpose. You see, satan actually hates all mankind, for God originally created man in his own image, and satan hates God’s image. He hates even those that bow their knee to himself.
But Jehovah God loves every person. John 3:16 states “for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life”. Jesus died for the salvation of every person. If you are reading this and you are not born-again, I plead with you to accept Jesus Christ into your heart. You can do it right now by accepting Him as your Saviour. The Bible says that if you will acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for your sin and believe that The Father raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved.
Why don’t you do this right now. Pray to God and acknowledge this and ask Jesus to take over your life. He will hear you and you will be born-again by the power of the Holy Spirit. Bless you.
You see, the Kingdom Day of Jesus Christ will shortly be birthed in this earth, in which day the bible declares that satan will be bound for the 1000 years of that Kingdom period. Satan knows this, and Revelation 12 states that he will attempt to prevent the Sons of God from being born. These Sons are a ministry of Kingdom Day priests whom The Lord will reveal in His Kingdom Day, and shall serve Him in His Kingdom. IT IS THESE SONS OF GOD WHOM SATAN IS TRYING TO DESTROY. It is similar to when Moses the servant of God was born and Pharaoh’s fear of him led him to kill all the male babies in an attempt to stop Moses. But Moses was hidden in a “secret place” and protected from the slaughter. So too the Sons of God, who are hidden in the Secret Place of the Most High God.
As I said earlier this is SPIRITUAL WARFARE and it is pathetic to watch politicians ignorantly try to fight this in the flesh, for it is only in the power of Jesus Christ that Spiritual battles will be won.
King David also experienced this evil force in his day.
We read about it in Psalm 83:
V2 – they are enemies of The Lord
they hate The Lord
they make a tumult (they rage)
they lift up the head – they are filled with pride
V3 – they took crafty counsel against God’s people, and consulted against HIS HIDDEN ONES
V4 – they sought to cut off Israel as a nation
V5 – they are confederate against The Lord
V6 - who are they? THE EDOMITES and THE ISHMAELITES !!!
their end:
V15 – The Lord persecute them
V16 - they be ashamed (their pride brought down) that they might seek His Name
V17 - they be confounded and troubled forever
so that:
V18 – MEN MAY KNOW THAT JEHOVAH IS THE MOST HIGH GOD OVER ALL THE EARTH
This Psalm reveals clearly that David faced the same persecutions from these people even in his day. An on-looker may have just observed this as natural events, but they actually hated Jehovah God, and that hatred therefore extended to His people.
It is the same today! These people hate The Lord and the hatred extends to all those that are His people.
This Psalm actually prophesies that these people will one day seek after The Lord. This will happen in the Kingdom Day of Jesus and they will be delivered from the lie which has kept them in bondage for centuries.
In Isaiah 54 the prophet is speaking about the heirs of promise and in V4 he says “FEAR NOT…..” and in V14, “in righteousness you are established and thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and far from terror; for it will not come near you”.
And in V17, “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgement thou shalt condemn. THIS IS THE HERITAGE OF THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD, and their righteousness is of Me saith The lord”.
To the Sons of God I want to say that people will interpret these things in whatever way they see in the natural realm. But we are to see things through the Heart of Jesus. We are in His Secret Place and say like David, “I will say of The Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God. In Him will I trust”. We need to understand that these things are the sign of our imminent birth.
We have our place of refuge from satan’s rampaging failed attempt to destroy us.
We shall not be afraid for the TERROR by night, nor by the arrow that flieth by day.
In Proverbs 3, speaking about WISDOM in V13, when you have it, V24 says, “When you lie down you will not be afraid”, and V25 “Be not afraid of sudden fear, NEITHER OF THE DESOLATION OF THE WICKED WHEN IT COMES”, for V26 “The Lord shall be your confidence, and SHALL KEEP YOUR FOOT FROM BEING TAKEN”.
Rejoice in the womb my beloved for The Glory of The Lord has risen upon us.
I believe that The Lord would say to His Sons that we are not to concentrate on these world events and consume our minds with public opinion and theory as humanity looks for answers. We know that all these things are part of the outworking of all things towards the coming Day of The Lord.
Just rest in the Secret Place and refresh ourselves in the Glory of Jesus as He completes the work which He began in us to transform us into His Image and Divine Nature.
