TEMPLE OVERCOMERS
The Sons of God are Temples being built by The Lord into whom He can enter, in all His Glory.
These are Temples not made of stone but of the hearts and souls of those whom He has chosen to be His dwelling place. Acts 17:24 tells us that “…The Lord of Heaven and earth does not dwell in hand-made shrines”. How often I have sat in meetings hearing leaders declare that Jesus is in the building. How ignorant these statements are. He does not dwell in man-made buildings but in human dwelling places made by His own hands. There are two aspects of this:
His Holy Spirit is present in a person at their point of re-birth at Salvation which is the first realm of their experience in Jesus
A person when baptized into the power of The Holy Spirit enters a second realm of His presence empowered into the outworking of His Power in signs and wonders and other gifts of the Holy Spirit for the work of the gospel. This is accompanied with the sign of speaking in other tongues.
But the Bible says in Colossians 1:27 that when you have Jesus in you it is “the hope of Glory”. So there is a further third realm to be found in Him, the realm of His Glory, which brings us back to the Temples HE IS BUILDING which He will fill with His Glory. His Glory is simply His Divine Nature and these human temples are taking on His Divine Nature after shedding their old Adamic nature with its human traits which eventually leads to the physical death of the body. People die, not because it’s God’s plan, but because originally we were born in the corrupt image of Adam. But there is a higher realm of transfiguration into the Divine Nature of Jesus thus taking on His Glory and Life. All praise is to our precious Lord.
The Sons of God, or Elect, or Faithful Ones, are a group Christians on the earth today who have hungered and thirsted for this third realm and are being transfigured into Jesus’ Glorious Image. These temples will be perfect therefore, and will never taste physical death because they are created in the image of Jesus, the first-born from the dead.
In the process of His Elect being transformed into Living Temples filled with the Glory of His Presence, I want to look back at the time when Nehemiah was re-building the ruined temple in Jerusalem around 450 B.C. and to look at 5 realms of OVERCOMING which he faced. This is relevant to the Elect today and Jesus says in Revelation 3:12, “he that OVERCOMETH I will make a pillar in the Temple of My God………and I will write upon him MY NEW NAME”.
The Sons of God ARE OVERCOMERS in circumstances of life in which The Lord has placed them that they may be perfected in victory through His strength. His strength is found in Spiritual Zion standing upon the foundations laid by our father David with whom The Lord established the covenant on which we stand, and on the oath which He made with David for the Melchizedek Priesthood into which we are transformed.
THE
5 FOLD OVERCOMING IN THE BUILDING OF THE TEMPLE
These are keys for us in OVERCOMING. May they Bless and Strengthen us in this hour. Whilst looking back historically at the obstacles which Nehemiah faced in rebuilding the Temple, his five fold overcoming experiences are for the Sons of God now to be encouraged by. Bless you as you read these and may the Holy Spirit speak to us in this hour.
THE 5 FOLD OVERCOMING IN THE BUILDING OF THE TEMPLE
1. CH.2:19 – RIDICULE He was laughed to scorn and despised. David Ben Jesse too was scorned. In Psalm 22:7 he says that all that saw him laughed him to scorn. People troubled him and persecuted him which affected his soul and his health, but from V22 onward we see the great OVEROMING victory in David. He feared The Lord, praised Him and declared his Name. He cried unto The Lord and found His victory. Through humility in his trial he found that the heart could LIVE FOREVER. He goes on from V27 to reveal the Kingdom Day of Jesus and the generation which would serve The Lord on that day.
Nehemiah’s OVERCOMING.
In Ch. 2:20 he says “The God of Heaven will prosper us. We will arise and build, and you have no part in this”. Beloved Sons of God, you will have been ridiculed, laughed to scorn and despised. You have been hurt and like David this has affected you but arise and be strong. Your despisers have no part in this. You will OVERCOME by your confidence in the Lord and the absolute truth that He has called you, and HE WILL PROSPER YOU! David’s testimony found in Psalm 1:1-3 says that: “happy, fortunate, prosperous and enviable is the one who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly, ……….but his delight and desire are in the Word, instructions, and teachings of The Lord which he meditates day and night”. If you have been ridiculed and scorned by the world or the religious, you will be prosperous in all things as you come into the full image of Jesus. Your scorners will be put to shame and one day will envy you. Cry unto The Lord and find your victory and you will know that you will LIVE FOREVER! If you are hurting and even thinking of giving up, I lift you up in The Name of Jesus and pray right now that you stand in His Might and the power of The Holy Ghost. He has earmarked you and called you and will complete His Glorious work in you. Job found that “there is a lifting up”. Lift up your eyes unto the Mount of Zion from whence comes your help and rest in the pure Word of The Lord revealed to your heart. NO MAN can rob you of your calling. Always remember that.
2. CH.4:3 – WRATH AND CONTEMPT Tobiah, an Ammonite, was close by Nehemiah and said “that if a fox climbed on the wall that they were building, it would break down”. This evil person was declaring a sentence of doom on the work of The Lord. This came from witchcraft in an attempt to thwart the building of the temple. “Contempt” is the mental act of scorning, despising, disrespect and regarding something as worthless. Let me tell you beloved, that the religious “Ammonites” are around today. Instead of understanding the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, they will try and tear you down. They judge and make ridicule of what we believe. Like Tobiah, they declare acts of contempt on what The Lord is doing in your life and their words come from witchcraft. They, like Tobiah, can see the change in you and may even be close by you. This is partly the problem that the religious can see a change of what The Lord is doing in your life, and they don’t like it. This is mainly from jealousy, fear and insecurity. Most of Christianity clings to the escapist “rapture theory” and like Israel did they will miss His coming. The first time Jesus was found in a manger. The next time He will be found in His Temples of Glory.
Nehemiah’s OVERCOMING
In CH. 4:4-6 Nehemiah cried to The Lord and told Him the problem that they were despised and vexed, and that these people actually provoked The Lord Himself. He discerned that this was a spiritual attack against the work of The Lord. He had boldness to declare to The Lord to turn their taunts on to their own heads and make them a prey in their own land. He declared that The Lord not blot out their evil. Beloved, in this Sonship realm, whatever attacks come against us are actually against The Lord’s Kingdom. Satan will make every attempt to stop the birth of the Manchild of Revelation 12. We like Nehemiah must have boldness to name our enemies whoever they are and lay bare their evil before The Lord that it turn on to themselves that they be a prey in their own bondage. Call on The Lord, make declaration of these ones, and put the reproach of your despisers on their own heads!
The key is in that Nehemiah asked The Lord to “TURN” this contempt on to them. We can do this in Jesus Name. If anybody scorns and despises you, in the Name of Jesus “TURN” their evil on to their own heads. Jesus spoke on this principle in Luke 10:6-11.
In the Name of Jesus turn all contempt and pronouncements of doom on to the ones who do it, for it is satanic. We have the authority in the Name to repel these attacks of the enemy using the weapons of our warfare. I ask those of you that have a strong prayer anointing to pray for and uphold those like myself who with limited resources are trying to communicate this precious Word through the internet. Pray that the precious Sons will be led to this site by the Holy Ghost.
The result of Nehemiah’s wisdom and boldness was that in V6 that they continued and got the wall to half way completion, because the people had a heart and a mind to do it. They no longer had fear of the evil attacks against them. They took strength from Nehemiah’s anointing and even his rebuke. They accepted his Word as Truth. We must listen to the prophets in this Sonship realm for you will draw strength and direction from the Word of The Lord. YOU CAN AND WILL OVERCOME!
Beloved as The Lord perfects His Sons, let me declare a “Strength and Boldness over us that we be able to rise above the works of darkness, and be made strong in heart and mind and body to allow The Lord to complete His work of perfecting in us”. Do not fear, for the watchmen guard over you.
I speak now to the “Tobiah’s” of today. You will not succeed in attacking the Sons of God on this earth. Your contempt, scorning, disrespect and disregard of those who declare the Sonship message, will be turned around on to you. Your attacks are against The Lord Himself, and you will be dealt with under the mighty hand of Jesus Christ as His Elect expose you in the Spiritual realms. You do not frighten me. I have has evil people tell me that I will be dead. Their words are from evil and have no effect on me for I live in the higher Word that I am called into Jesus Divine Nature.
If you are a Christian I draw you to repent before The Lord lest His wrath come upon you. If you are not a Christian then I declare to you that you need to be Born-again and be washed in the Blood of Jesus whom you attack. His mercy is greater than your sin, and He will forgive you. Reject Him and you stand to taste of His wrath as you attack the work of His own Hands for He is building the Living Temples of the Sons of God unto Himself.
3. CH. 4:7-8 – CONSPIRACY AND HINDRANCE When Tobiah, Sanballat and the Arabians saw that the work continued, they were ANGRY. They PLOTTED to FIGHT, to injure, cause confusion, and failure. You see Revelation 12 says that satan is doing everything he can to prevent the Manchild company of the Sons of God being birthed. He is using the same tactics as he tried on Nehemiah.
Confusion is destructive and can ultimately lead to failure. But we have been given the mind of Jesus and must realize that this fight against us will not prevail.
Nehemiah’s OVERCOMING
How he overcame this attack in 4:9, was that he prayed to The Lord for direction and set up a watch day and night against them. I guess we would say that there was a special ministry of those that were watchmen. They would have had a prayer ministry fighting the forces of darkness with our weapons which are mighty in the Holy Ghost. Amongst the Elect right now are Watchmen, Prophets and Teachers to warn and encourage. We must embrace each other and listen to The Lord.
There are some who are in a battle right now. The enemy is using sickness, lack of finances and rejection to injure. There are those who are confused. You have believed and stood in this truth for so long and don’t understand why these things are happening. The enemy is trying to cause failure.
I see this as a watchman and as a prophet The Lord would say to you:
“You are My beloved. I called each one of you and have you securely sheltered in the Secret Place where the enemy cannot stop My work. He tried to stop Me on the earth with lies and seduction, but I used the Word of Truth against Him. You have My Word that you are My Sons and you will come forth as the bright and morning star as kings and priests unto Me. Your sicknesses, finances and rejections will be reversed for He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. Do not be confused My Beloved for I have allowed natural things that through them I might transform and perfect you. The enemy would have you think that these are from him to injure you and cause failure. This is a lie. My Watchmen, hold up the Standard against him and Prophets encourage My Elect to lift up there heads for their full redemption is nigh upon you all. I am the Lord God victorious and nothing can defeat you for I know every situation and My victory is your victory as you Overcome by My Blood and the word of your testimony”.
4. CH. 4:10-12 DISCOURAGEMENT OF FRIENDS We read that the people of Judah and the Jews became discouraged. They saw the burden of the task and decided the work was too great. The whispering attack against Nehemiah was particularly effective amongst the Jews in outlying areas to whom Sanballat and his associates had readier access. These discouragers are those who become overwhelmed and discouraged. They fear for themselves but watch out for their whispering attacks against your prophets and builders. There are those in this realm who know of the Glorious Truth of perfection and immortality into Jesus, but they concentrate on the burdens of life and the rubbish and find it difficult to see how The Lord could change things. Some let their minds question immortality and by-passing Adam’s physical death. Well, you either believe it or not. This has to be revealed to you by the Holy Spirit. If this is you then ask the Lord to wash out the humanistic conditioning to accept death and lift you into the Glorious realm of Walking in the light of His Resurrection. Some become afraid. They see sickness and death and begin to question immortality. The enemy likes it if we act like this for he thinks that it will discourage others with their fear and doubts. How did Nehemiah overcome this?
Nehemiah’s OVERCOMING
It was quite simple really. In 4:13-14, we read that he reminded them to be not afraid and to REMEMBER THE LORD who is great and mighty and fights for us. He strengthened the places of greatest weakness. Nehemiah frequently recalls the people to their basic trust in Jehovah. Now for us today, there will be those who become overwhelmed with circumstances of life and begin to see the impossibility of how The Lord can change us into His perfect likeness. I want to tell you to REMEMBER THE LORD. The Hebrew word is much stronger than “remember”, it actually means “to IMPRINT”. Get the person of Jesus IMPRINTED in our MINDS, then no matter what comes our way our minds cannot be attacked with fears and doubts because all the usable space is taken up by the mind of Jesus.
Let me speak to you now, and lift you up in The Name of Jesus. When you feel oppressed or depressed and begin to doubt, remember that you are a chosen vessel of The Lord and that He is the builder. Is anything impossible to our God? Did He not defeat the powers of darkness? Does He not hold the keys of death and hell? Is He unable to bring His sons to Immortality? He did it for Enoch, for Elijah and said that He could have done it for His apostle John had He chosen to. He would have done it for HIMSELF except that He firstly had to die on the cross for the sin of the world. He came into it after three days by descending into satan’s domain and conquering satan’s hold over it ascending triumphant with the keys of death and hell in his possession. The only thing that satan holds over people in regard to physical death is in their mind. Well, the Sons of God REMEMBER JESUS holds the keys. If you want to die, He will unlock the door for you and you can enter through it. But for His Elect, He has locked the door and no man can unlock it. He is The Lion of Judah, and they are the people of Praise. When you are discouraged or depressed or doubt that you can be a Son of God, and when you doubt immortality, begin to sing the New Song in your heart. This is when David in his troubles found his deliverance. We are of the Tribe of Judah and can stand on Zion’s hill with the praises of God in our mouth.
Just worship Jesus beloved. Stand with those who are on the watchtowers and encourage them. Bless the prophets, and pray for them. We are all in the womb together. You are not alone, and The Hand of The Lord will not fail. REMEMBER THE LORD! At all times REMEMBER JESUS. Remember that He is your Saviour, your Redeemer, your Provider, your healer, your banner, your peace, your habitation, your shepherd, your righteousness, your all-sufficient one and your constant and trustworthy friend. Remember that He conquered death for you and that you can enter into that victory in your own life. Remember that He has a new name reserved for you. Remember what He has done with you, how He has kept you unto this point. The enemy will taunt you if you are down, but he will flee when you sing the New Song of your heart unto The Lord. Let me encourage you as I stand with you. The Lord will complete the work He has begun in you unto the dawn of His New Day and you shall come forth from the womb of the morning as Kings and Priests unto our God. I call The Name of Jesus over you that you be strong and support the Work of His Hands with Praises in your heart unto our God and Saviour Jesus.
5. CH. 5: 1-5 SELFISH GREED The people complained of their debt, mortgage and bondage, in other words, their natural circumstances. These overwhelmed them more than the joy of seeing the Temple and Jerusalem restored. They began to see what they had hoped for being unrealised because of the various pressures of the humanistic and temporal things. This tried their faith and patience. Yes, they had to pay taxes to the Persians and interest on their borrowings and they began to sink under these burdens. They sold their children into slavery to procure the means of subsistence. The thing is that the rebuilding of Jerusalem was not foremost for the supply of their natural needs. Others loaned money to the poorer and charged them interest and took advantage of each other’s plight. Those who think that they will get some natural advantage out of the Sonship Realm are way off course.
Does any of this sound familiar? We all have some sort of temporal burden, things sometimes for which we see no answer. How often have you thought that The Lord doesn’t hear your cry? You think that it is unfair. Or do you trust Him? The coming Kingdom of Jesus Christ on this earth is the greatest event to happen. His Sons are being created into the Living Temple which Jesus will inhabit and dwell. The light afflictions we may have are but for a moment, but Jesus will deliver us from them all. Many of us have stood and believed for His perfection and the birthing of His Day for many years. I exhort and encourage us all to see only Jesus. Some in this realm become overwhelmed. This leads to doubts and discouragement and even depression. Let me say as a prophet that the night is far spent and the morning star is arising in our hearts. Unlike the Jews, we are to encourage each other and support wherever possible in this walk.
Nehemiah’s OVERCOMING
In Ch.5:6-17 Nehemiah was angry. He thought it all over and rebuked the people. He made them reverse their practices. His challenge was powerful, and I make it to us all. “Ought not we walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?”
We cannot apply the principles of the world no matter what our circumstances. We overcome by walking in the fear of our God. The Sons of God are above the humanistic ways and the rudiments of this world. If you continue to walk in them you will become depressed.
Jesus calls us to a New way. As we take on His nature we shall think differently. We are to WALK in the fear of God. Not merely believe it and talk about it but actually WALK in it. If you have financial pressures, WALK as if The Lord has solved them. If you have sickness, WALK as if Jesus has healed you. If you have relationship problems, WALK as if Jesus has the answer. If you have cares and pressures, Walk as if Jesus can resolve them. If we don’t beloved, then the heathen and the religious will reproach us.
You may well say that your circumstances are real and have to be handled. Well hand them over to the Lord and stop fearing what man may say or do to you. This is why we were chosen, because The Lord saw that we hungered and thirsted after Him. He will not form us in the womb and then abort the birth.
I call The Name of Jesus over each one in the womb of His Manchild. I call peace and trust. I rebuke the pressures of life and bring them down in The Name. I speak gladness and joy and rejoicing into every heart and mind of His Elect. Let the Light of His Glorious face shine on each one and fill us with His peace.
The Sons of God are the OVERCOMERS. Regardless of the circumstances which come against us to try to hinder us WE CAN OVERCOME. There is victory in the Blood of Jesus. We can rise up and be victorious because He has made it possible.
Is there something coming against you? You can OVERCOME through Jesus.
Jesus said in 1 John 4:3, “….you have heard that anti-Christ should come and is now already in the world. You are of God, Sons, and have OVERCOME them, therefore GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU than he who is in the world”. This is our OVERCOMING victory beloved, that when Jesus actually enters His Temples of Glory, we will OVERCOME all things. We have Victory already ours. We will appropriate it when we fully take on His Victory over death. We will be known as “OVERCOMERS”.
I have always preached that to be an “OVERCOMER”, you have to be an “undergoer”. We have to undergo trials and the fire of His perfecting. So rejoice when these fiery trials come upon you for the Spirit of Glory is working in you.
WHAT AWAITS THE OVERCOMERS OF REVELATION?
1. 2:7,17 – they eat of the Tree of Life, they eat of the hidden manna and get a new name
2. 2:26 – they will have authority and power over the nations
3. 3:5 – will be revealed before the Father and His angels
4. 3:12 – will be a pillar in the sanctuary and receive the Name of God and the new realm
5. 3:21 – will sit beside Jesus on His throne
6. 21:7 – will Inherit ALL THINGS and be a SON.
What a Glorious calling! What a joy to birth Jesus Kingdom Day on this earth. What a ministry to serve Him as Kings and Priests in His Day of Glory.
THESE TEMPLES ARE THE OVERCOMERS WHO SHALL NEVER TASTE PHYSICAL DEATH
May our Lord complete these Temples and overlay us with the Gold of His Glory that He might appear in us and then shall it be proclaimed,
“THE LORD IS IN HIS HOLY TEMPLE, LET ALL THE EARTH KEEP SILENCE BEFORE HIM”
