THE LAW OF THE
MOUNTAIN
In the Old Testament there are three mountains of significant importance in Jehovah’s dealings with man and also man’s worship of Jehovah. These are natural mountains and events, but I want to draw out the Spiritual importance of these realms as places in operation today in the plans of The Lord.
1. Mt SINAI
This is where The Law was given to Moses by The Lord and also where He appeared to Moses to show him His Glory. In fact Moses met The Lord many times in this mountain. This law guided the Jewish people and was the basis of God’s judgement until the days of Grace. This Mountain is a type of the Law Day between God and His people. (Please understand that when I use the word “God”, I am referring to the only true God Jehovah, the creator of Heaven and earth and all that is therein). Moses established a law-based system of worship and forgiveness in the tabernacle which he constructed, and in it he placed the Ark of the Covenant between God and man in the Holy of Holies. This mountain is a symbol of religious laws and sadly many people are stuck in this mountain of religious laws today.
2. Mt ZION
This is the mountain upon which David established his kingdom and built the Tabernacle of The Lord. 2 Samuel 5:7 – “David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is the City of David”. Eventually David brought the Ark from the old Tabernacle of Moses and placed it in the Tabernacle of David in Zion. It was here that David established a whole new form of relationship with The Lord from his heart which sought only the heart of God. He found that the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a contrite heart and he based the whole Davidic system of worship around that Truth. David found Mercy and cleansing in the heart and the Psalms bear record to this. He sang the New Song in his heart to The Lord. Gone were the Mosaic laws of harshness and works. Mt Zion is the type of the Church day with David Tabernacle Worship and Praise. But you may not find any resemblance to David’s Tabernacle in the Church system which has become a man-controlled, result orientated organization. The true Church is the re-built Tabernacle of David. “Zion” literally means “Fortress” and a Zion church would be a Spiritual Fortress. The powers of darkness fled from King Saul when David played his instrument. Why? Because David’s heart was Zion and the forces of satan cannot assault this fortress. Imagine the impact of the Christian Church today were it the re-built Tabernacle of David.
3. Mt Moriah
This is the mountain on which Solomon built the Temple of Glory unto The Lord. It is the north-west hill of Jerusalem on the sides of Zion’s north. It was the mountain of Glory to The Lord where Solomon built not for man but for The Lord. Up until then the mountain experiences were for man but Moriah was for The Lord. You see the last 2000 years of the church day have been God’s Grace for man, but we are in the dawning hours of history where again the “Solomon Company” are being built for The Lord and will take the Ark from the church day to Jesus Kingdom Day on this earth. This new “temple” will not be a physical structure but its construction has been going on in the hearts of the Sons of God for some decades. Psalm 48:1, 2 – “Great is The Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of His Holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north THE CITY OF THE GREAT KING”. This verse sums up better than I can about Zion and Moriah. The wonderful thing is that this new spiritual Moriah is going to become “the joy of the whole earth”. Has there ever been anything that has bought joy on the whole earth? The birth of Jesus was meant to bring this in the words of the angels, but no such realm has ever existed. So it is still to happen. Politics, governments, or the evil United Nations can’t do it. Only the Kingdom of Jesus Christ can do it.
In Genesis 22:2 Mt Moriah was the place where Abraham was to sacrifice his son Isaac but of course The Lord intervened and provided the scapegoat. In V14 Abraham named that place “Jehovah-Jireh” which means “Jehovah will provide”. Beloved, in this hour where The Lord is building His Temple Sons, He will test the hearts but I want to tell you that at the right moment He will provide a scapegoat for you. Be faithful and Trust Him for He will never forsake you.
So we have a progression from: LAW – GRACE – GLORY
In the Spiritual outworking of this today, this period will cover 7000 years, and 6000 years have already passed. WE ARE IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING OF THE AGE OF GLORY. We are about to see the greatest move of God on this earth as the Sons of God are unveiled heralding the Kingdom of Jesus Christ on this earth and this will be “the joy of the whole earth” as David said. Much tribulation will increase on this earth as we approach this event. We are watching the spread of evil across the earth orchestrated by satan himself using principally the hatred and violence of the islam scourge causing fear in the hearts of man. The blindness and stupidity is that governments and leaders are looking for political answers to a spiritual problem which dates back to Ishmael the champion of this evil.
Now, in Ezekiel 20:40 The Lord talks of “His Holy Mountain” and “the mountain in the height of Israel”, which would be Mt. Moriah.
In Ezekiel 40:2 - the prophet is brought by God to a “very high mountain” and sees the city stretching southland, meaning he would be in the north on Mt Moriah. He sees a man similarly described by John in Rev.1:15 who I believe to be Jesus. He told Ezekiel to “behold with his eyes and hear with his ears, AND SET HIS HEART to what he was about to be shown”. I need to tell every reader of this message that these three things ARE CONDITIONS PRECEDENT to receiving anything from The Lord. To learn anything you must open your spiritual eyes and ears and set your heart – without these conditions precedent, you will learn nothing!
Ezekiel was about to be shown the Temple of Glory – what a blessed man, but what a blessing for the Sons of God to BE THE TEMPLE OF GLORY! Now back in Genesis 22:14 we read that Abraham called the place “Jehovah-Jireh”, meaning “The Lord will provide”, but of this provision it also says “that it will be seen”! In this mountain of Glory, there is something to be seen in this day and hour but only with the conditions precedent.
Both Abraham and Ezekiel were to be shown something. The Sons of God are ridiculed, criticised, run out of town, and accused of being heretics. Why? Because they have seen and heard and set their heart to see what The Lord had to show them, and the religious don’t like it. We see in the church today, pride, arrogance, control, humanism, dominance, competition, and cold hard error. I am not here to correct the church, Jesus will do that. My anointing is to speak of Jesus and His Kingdom and to encourage the Sons of God. What did Abraham see? Jesus answers this in John 8:56:"Your father Abraham rejoiced to see MY DAY, AND HE SAW IT AND WAS GLAD”. Only the Abraham spirit and faith will see The Day of The Lord. In Abraham’s mountain you see Jesus. His condition precedent was that he had to sacrifice his all and plunge the knife into his son Isaac. Total sacrifice was the law of Abraham’s mountain. It’s the law which David had birthed in his heart – and he found that the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and a humble heart. It’s the same law that the Sons of God have birthed in their heart.
NOW – in Ezekiel 43:12. This chapter reveals the temple and the Glory of The Lord. He SAW the Glory of The Lord enter the place and V 6 he HEARD the Lord speaking to him. The Law of this mountain and Temple of Glory is simple, and is spoken in V 12: “The whole limit of this place was to be MOST HOLY”. In The Day of Jesus, the law of the Most Holy Place covers the whole temple. On the Kingdom Day of Jesus on this earth, the Day of His GLORY, only His Glory will manifest. The two other realms of salvation and Pentecost will be overtaken by His Glory.
The message of this coming day is that Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings and His Glory shall cover the earth. The church day will end as His Kingdom Day comes forth with a new order and a new priesthood as the Sons of God are unveiled. All things will be brought into subjection to His Divine Order and Truth. This earth shall experience his peace for 1000 years. As Solomon reigned in Wisdom in his day so shall Jesus’ Sons on this day.
Everything to do with this Day of Glory will be Holiness. Obadiah, another prophet around the same time as Ezekiel said in V 17: “On Mt Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be HOLINESS and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions (ie. restoration)”. V 18: It will be a FIRE. V 21: “Saviours (restorers, deliverers, rescuers, defenders, - the Sons of God) shall come up on Mt Zion……….and the KINGDOM shall be The Lord’s”.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN
The Law of The Mountain will reach into all things on the earth. Into homes, governments, communities, economies etc. All things on this earth will be consecrated to Jesus. He shall take ownership of all things. The Kingdoms of the earth shall become His and shall be ruled over by His Priesthood. The wealth of the earth shall be dealt with righteously. Wars shall cease. This period will be PEACE on Earth.
The True Sons of God have been in a process of perfecting as Jesus has been building His temples of flesh. This has hurt and the fire has been severe but the calling has been a joy. They are being washed by the Word that they be Holy and without blemish. The Apostle Paul calls it a transfiguration where the Adamic nature is burned out and we take on the Divine nature of Jesus.
The Elect are not Elect for their knowledge but for what they have done with that knowledge.
Colossians 3 is really a word for The Elect.
V1 Seek the things which are above (the higher realms)
V2 Set your mind on the things which are above (not on the things of earth)
You will see the similarity to the Sons Setting their Minds to Ezekiel Setting his Heart. Having sought the Heavenly things it’s no good unless you Set your MIND on them. Your mind is either occupied by earthly things or Heavenly things. Adam is the man from the earthy; Jesus is the Man from the Heavens.
When you actually bring the higher Heavenly principles into your mind and your thinking, this will then change your body to Heavenly, and for the Sons of God on this earth, “Their mortal has put on IMMORTALITY”. If this is not so then we have not taken on Jesus Divine Nature.
V5 Therefore mortify (deprive of life) the body living on earth to take on the life of the MIND living in the Heavens.
The prophet Malachi in 2:1-7 describes The Lord’s relationship with the priests of The Lord. V5 – He made a covenant of LIFE and PEACE with them based on what Phineas did (Numbers 25:11-13). V7 – The priests of Sonship are those who receive His laws and ordinances and HAVE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS for THEY ARE THE MESSENGERS OF THE LORD OF HOSTS.
JESUS IS THE LAWGIVER
The Jacobic blessing on his son JUDAH in Gen. 49:10, was that “the LAWGIVER was in Judah, and the word was that “the lawgiver would not depart UNTIL THE THINGS IN STORE COME”. Jesus can make whatever Laws He likes. He has one all-encompassing law for the Temples of His Glory which is HOLINESS.
Jesus is infinitely Holy. He didn’t have to become Holy or even act Holy. Unholiness is that which is not consistent with the man Jesus.
The Ezekiel temple was all to precise measure. The Spiritual Temples, the Sons of God will flow with Jesus fullness and measure. The measures of these living temples are the measures of Jesus in every part. These are not human measurements but Heavenly. It’s partaking of Jesus in reality not just words, forms and traditions.
David says in Psalm 60:7 “Judah is My Lawgiver”
Isaiah 33:20-22 says “Zion says……..The Lord is our Lawgiver”. You see, Judah is an extension of The Lord. Is. 2:3 says “the Law shall go forth from Zion”. The Lord makes the laws AND ZION brings them into power.
David was of the tribe of Judah. Jesus was of the tribe of Judah. David built the realm of Zion. Jesus is the Lion of Judah. Jesus is the root and offspring of David. Jesus holds the key of David. The Sons of God are in the David line, and Born in Spiritual Zion.
The priest under Moses had a crown of pure gold which had engraved upon it “HOLINESS TO THE LORD”. Gold speaks of the Glory of The Lord and His Kingdom priests will have the crown of His Glory in their nature engraved with “HOLINESS TO THE LORD”.
TODAY
I don’t have to describe what we are seeing in the earth. The descendants of Ishmael are infiltrating every nation with the evil scourge of Islam and their terror. The greed of man and nations is abounding to amoral proportions. Enemies are within households (Matthew 10:36). The church has become materialistic and compromised with the world. We can see all this, but what is not seen is the “Manchild of God” – the many membered company of the Sons of God being transformed and made ready for the Day of The Lord where they shall rule as Kings and Priests in the new order ordained by Jesus Himself. These are the saviors who shall arise on the Mt. of Zion. These Sons are not seen by man for they are hidden in the “Secret place of The Lord Most High”.
Whether you believe it or not, Jesus is the Lawgiver and He shall cause His Kingdom to come to this earth. The nations of the earth shall become His – ie. controlled according to His principles. We are in the closing hours of the church age and hence the early hours of the Kingdom Day. Jesus opens and shuts doors and no man can reverse it. His will shall be done. He is unfolding His great Plan since creation – “to restore all things unto Himself, whether in Heaven or earth”. He is to restore what Adam lost and sold out to satan the deceiver.
To the churches, read Revelation chapters 2 and 3.
To any person not saved, accept Jesus as your Saviour. Believe that He is The Son of God, that He died for you and that He rose from the dead. Ask Him into your heart and you will be born-again.
To the Sons of God, I encourage in this hour. The way has not been easy and the fire of God has touched every area of our lives. Be not dismayed for the Spirit of Glory rests upon you and we shall appear as He is.
There is a Law of the mountain of God. This law does not condemn but sets free. The LAW OF HOLINESS will cover this earth and surpass every precept of man.
Jesus is Truly God the creator of Heaven and earth, the Saviour of mankind and the Prince of Peace. His Kingdom will rule and reign on this planet.
HOW DOES HE SEE YOU? He sees you as you are. He knows your heart. What is the most important thing in your life? What are the things of lasting value in your life? What matters? You know, the apostle Paul said in the Bible that compared to Jesus everything else was
dung to him.
People today are looking for security. it will not be found in money, governments or religion.
Hebrews 2:10 says that Jesus the captain (chief, leader) of our salvation was made perfect through suffering. That’s how you become a captain in Jesus Kingdom, - through suffering unto perfection.
Let me tell you, there are Kingdom captains, heroes, and champions who are being formed, soon to be unveiled in this earth. Jesus has heroes, captains and yes even champions. His army is invincible. Their weapons are not carnal but Spiritual to tear down every stronghold of satan that has permeated this earth. Jesus defeated sin and death at The Cross. He went into satan’s domain and stripped him of the keys of death and arose triumphant over it. Jesus is now in authority over every principality and power in heaven and earth. This authority is about to be manifest on the earth when Jesus births His Kingdom in this earth.
