THE SUMMONS CALL
This is a word from Bro. Jack Hodgdon in Oregon USA
Just the other day whilst writing a letter to a dear friend, The Lord reminded me of this gracious word he gave to me on 9th May 2000. He called it “The Summons Call”. Firstly some background:
The month of May is significant as it was on 7th May 1998 that He spoke to me a mighty Word about “Ascending to the Third Heaven”, and again on 14th May, 1999 a glorious Word called “Flying High” which was a very life- changing Word.
Again he spoke a Word on 15th March 1999 which said: “Make haste because the Son of Righteousness is rising”. In other words the Lord is saying to all those who have ears to hear His voice, “You are in an ascension mode of rising up”.
I was sitting in a Bible study at a small group in Heppner USA, a few blocks from where I lived.
The anointing was so strong that I had to excuse myself and go home and write. I had an over-powering thought that some kind of a final work in The Lord’s “called out first-fruits” was taking place, and it captured me like an urgent message given, that His Sons must take heed and walk softly before their God.
I stand in fear and trembling that I should fail to obey the Holy Spirit’s pleading. With all my heart as I write this Word given 9th May 2000, I want to make haste because soon things shall unfold that have never been told.
To all that knew His Word under the Old Covenant, all the males 20 years and older were required to appear before God three time a year, at the time of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. The final Feast of Tabernacles is the only feast left now to be fulfilled in those who have been apprehended to Sonship, and will obtain the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus, will win Christ, and be found in Him.
The Apostle Paul sums it up in Philippians 3:8-11, where he talks of “those who shall attain to this resurrection out from among the dead”. This mystery which the Sons of God hold so dear is about those who shall be saved out of death without going the way of the grave. This resurrection is reserved for that 42nd generation who are still alive in a mortal body at the time of Christ’s appearing.
So this message, “The Summons Call” is like the Lord is saying:
“Make your Calling and Election Sure”
There is a first-fruit harvest which James 1:18 calls “the precious fruit”.
So now to what the Holy Spirit said to me on 9th May 2000.
THE SUMMONS CALL
“My Beloved spoke, and said unto me, rise up my love, my fair one and come away for, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone”. SOS 2:10-11
“I summons you to come away, and rise up,
And go beyond that which has been,
Into that which shall be.
Beyond the five fold, to that which has been untold.
Beyond the glory of Pentecost.
To ascend the secret of the stairs that Jacob saw.
To ascend into My very heart.
The love feast of the single eye,
The place of the sea of glass,
Memory’s gone of all that’s past!
Restored into pure reality,
To stand upon the crystal sea,
To taste the glory of immortality!
A house in Heaven made of living stones
So rare this house, I’ll take you there!
Rise up! To hear “the summons call”
My holy vessels I am one in all.
To descend in garments white and clean,
No mortal eyes have ever seen.
To hear the summons to hear the call,
To receive My fullness My all in all.
My beauty My glory, redeemed from the fall.
I summons you to rise to My call!
I have brought you to a place
That few have dared to come.
United with the Father, united with the Son.
The gold and silver vessels,
Made holy white and clean,
A people I am unveiling
Who the world has never seen.
The work of full redemption,
The work of Mine own Hand.
They are My hidden treasures,
Sent forth at My command.
The sound of many waters,
As lightening shall they go.
Creation has been waiting,
My glory shall they know.
Their lips are full of praises,
They sing New Zion’s song,
Come all ye creation
To Me you now belong”.
