THE FACE SEEKERS
The Generation of “Face-seekers”
The “Sonship Message” has been in the hearts of His Sons in our generation, which is the generation born that David foresaw, who would “Seek the Face of Jesus”. The Bible says that “the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God shines in the Face of Jesus”, so when you seek His Face with your heart you will get the Light of the knowledge of the Glory of God. If you seek with your intellect you will see nothing.
THE LOST GENERATION
Matthew 1:1-16 lists the generations from Abraham to Jesus of which there are 41. However in V 17, it says there are 42. It seems that there is a lost generation, but the answer is found in Psalm 24. V 3 declares a company of those “who will ascend into the Hill Of The Lord and stand in His Holy Place”. V 6 “this is the Generation of them that seek Him, that seek His Face!
Here we have Matthew’s missing Generation, that David saw afar off who would be the generation of “Face Seekers”. It was David himself who said, “when the Lord said “seek My Face”, my heart said, Lord, Your Face will I seek”. Beloved, we are in the time of the fulfillment of David’s prophecy of those that have sought the Lord with all their heart. They have hungered and thirsted for the meat of the Truth and The Lord took them to the Secret Place of His presence, The Holy of Holies. These are the Sons of God. They have sought as David did.
In Psalm 27:4 he said “one thing I desired of the Lord and that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of The Lord all the days of my life to behold the Beauty of The Lord and to seek in His Temple”. You see David was a Glory seeker. His seed are Glory Seekers. If you behold His Beauty you will behold His Face and that will give the Light of the Knowledge of His Glory.
This was David’s “One Desire” and he sought after it.
To the Sons of God I want to burn this desire into our hearts. In our wilderness days there are probably many desires and needs we have of the Lord, and that’s OK as He promises that He will give us the desires of our heart, but I send this reminder into our hearts from our father David, that our place is before His Face.
In Moses prayer recorded in Psalm 90, V 17 he says: “let the Beauty of our Lord God be Upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us”. You see beloved, His Kingdom priests are empowered by His Glory. If anybody knew this Moses did, as he beheld the Glory of the Lord in the Holy Place and it empowered Him. The Glory of The Lord is His Divine Nature, and we are coming into the fullness of His Divine Nature. Let this be your One Desire. Seek after this as David did. Never give up! Cry to Him, for He hears your cry and has Mercy for you. This is Mercy beyond the salvation experience, it’s a Mercy which is found in the Third Realm for the creating of the Manchild.
If you are feeling lost and as though nothing is happening. If you are feeling as though The Lord does not hear your cry, then He speaks to you. He has a company of Third-Day prophets; hear them. He knows your feelings; He is in the midst of your wilderness. He will give you a path in the wilderness and a stream in the desert. He hears the cries of your heart and as a Loving Father He is changing you into His Glorious Image. As with Moses, He will establish the work of our hands upon us.
The dealing of The Lord may have got you down, and you may even question your calling. You have believed this truth for years. Let me say to you that your days of mourning are going to turn around. The Glory of The Lord will be upon you. You will be born a new creation with a new nature. How Glorious. Death with no hold over you. Your appointment with physical death dis-annulled!
David birthed this for us as a prophet:
• Psalm 31:16 “make your Face to shine upon your servant: save me for Your Mercies’ sake. Remember Acts 13:34 relates “the Sure Mercies of David” to the resurrection of Jesus.
• Psalm 67:1 “God be Merciful and Bless us and cause His Face to Shine upon us. Why? - V 2 – that His will be made known on the earth, and His saving health among the nations. V 4 – that He may govern the nations upon the earth with Righteousness. V 7 – that all the ends of the earth shall fear and reverence Him. What a glorious Day David sees afar off when Jesus will rule and reign on the whole earth. At the moment the ends of the earth do not fear and reverence Him. David speaks of the Kingdom Day where The Glory of The Lord is Shining in the faces of His seed. Blessed be the Name of Jesus.
This excites me. Beloved brothers and sisters in the Secret Place, be encouraged. Stand with the One Desire. The Lord will take care of all the other things as He perfects you. Always remember that the same fire that burns the dross perfects the gold.
Look at the Psalm 80 of Asaph. He cries to the “Shepherd” and “Leader” who “dwells between the cherubim”. He sees Jesus in the Holy of Holies. His cry is “SHINE FORTH”, and V 3, “Restore us and Cause Your Face to Shine”. This whole Psalm is a cry to The Lord for His Face and Restoring. V 17 is Glorious: “Let Thy hand be upon THE MAN OF THY RIGHT HAND upon the son of man WHOM THOU MADE STRONG FOR THYSELF”.
Blessed be the name of Jesus. He is making His Sons Strong for Himself! We are the Sons of the Right Hand. He is Shining on us between the Wings of the Cherubim. This is at the seat of His Mercy where His Presence is. This is where He communes with us. He communes with the shining of His Face. It is continually on us like the sun that never goes down. This is Restoring us, it is making us Strong.
Now, V 18: “So we will not go back from Thee, quicken us and we will call upon Thy Name”.
Bless His Wonderful Name! “Quicken” in the Hebrew means “to give Life to”. This is where our IMMORTALITY is beloved, in the Glory of His presence as he Shines His Glorious Face on us continually. This is where He meets us and changes us into His Image as he is NOW!
No matter what our natural circumstances, the Lord has His Face Shining on us to Strengthen us and Restore us to a Perfect man. The Holy of Holies is actually the womb of the Manchild and we shall come forth in His Glorious Image bearing His Glory into the world. Bless His Glorious Name. Call upon His Name. Cry unto Him. We are the Sons of His Right Hand. He hears our cry. He strengthens by His Right Hand. It was the Right Hand of David’s Lord that lifted him up from the pit of his circumstances. He will lift us up as the Sons of His Right Hand.
There are many more exhortations to seek His Face, but in Revelation 22:2, speaking of the Tree of Life, those that serve Him there “see his Face” and “His Name is in Their Foreheads”. The forehead speaks of the mind. Our minds will be totally filled with His Name and Nature. We will bear the same mind. We will have the Mind of Jesus. We will have His Nature of Goodness, Mercy, Love, Righteous Judgement and Wisdom, and with His heart we shall rule and reign with Him for 1000 years.
There are three categories of people reading this message
1. The Sons of God. We are in the womb of His changing. I want to encourage you to Seek the Face of Jesus continually. The day of the birthing is drawing near. His purposes for this earth are soon to break forth in the manifestation of His Kingdom coming to this Earth. The church day will give way to His Kingdom Day of peace and restoration. Be patient, endure with rejoicing and know that your calling is not in vain.
2. Christian people who have not had revelation of this Truth. I challenge you to humble yourself and seek The Lord as to whether these things be so. Ask Him to “open the eyes of your understanding”. If you accept this truth I ask you to pray for His Kingdom to come that His will be done on this earth as it is in heaven. Pray that His Sons come forth from the womb of the morning to birth His Day, for as you do this you will be blessed. Ask The Lord to lead you to His prophets who will feed you with new food which will be so sweet to your taste.
3. Those that have never accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour. I want you know that He Loves you. He died on the cross so that we might be saved. It doesn’t matter who you are, or what you have done. Your sins are washed away by His death on the cross. All you have to do is believe that Jesus died for you as the perfect lamb of God, and that He rose from the dead. You can be born again right now. Just say a simple prayer and ask Jesus to come into your life. Accept Him as your Saviour. He has promised that if you seek him you shall find Him. Bless you as you do this.
