THE ZADOK PRIESTHOOD
Zadok was of the priestly line of Aaron through Aaron’s son Eleazor.
Aaron –Eleazor-Phineas-Ahitub-Zadok
This priestly line had major impact at the 3rd generation of Phineas, where God made a Covenant with him.
Numbers 25:6. Israel was committing whoredom with the world and was into idolatry. The Lord instructed Moses to take the heads of the people in idolatry, and hang them up before the Lord to turn His anger from Israel. V6- One of the Israelites brings in a Midianite woman into the camp and went into a tent with her. V7- When Phineas saw it, he rose up and took a javelin, went into the tent and thrust both of them and the woman through her belly which was the seat of the whoredom, and the Lord stayed the plague!
V11- Phineas had turned the wrath of God because he had a zeal for the sake of the
Name of the Lord.
V12- The Lord made with Phineas a covenant of PEACE:
• To him, and
• His seed after him,
“even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood”, because he was zealous for God, and made atonement for the children of God.
This covenant was to continue through the Phineas line to Zadok and beyond to the Sons of God.
Now we have an everlasting priesthood with a Zeal for the Lord, and a heart for His people with whom the Lord has established a Covenant of Peace. This covenant continues through to the Sons of God king/priest ministry as they bring peace to the earth. That same characteristic of zeal which Phineas had will be in the Sons.
In Ezekiel 44:10-19 v10- The Levites that were gone from Him……..v13- will not come near Him, BUT
V15- The SONS Of ZADOK that kept charge of the Sanctuary when Israel went astray,
they shall come near to Him, and stand before Him.
V16- They shall enter into His Sanctuary and minister to the Lord.
V17- They will enter the Most Holy Place.
V23- Their ministry to Israel (the church), will be to teach His people the difference
between the unclean and the clean
V24- They will have controversy (contention, strife) yet they shall judge according to the
Word of God. This is where the Phineas Zeal which the Lord honored will come
through the priesthood.
V28- They have an inheritance – “The Lord is their only Inheritance, they have no
possession in the church, The Lord is their possession”
V31- They have no part of partaking of death
Zadok whose name means lit. “righteous”, was a priest in David’s tabernacle,
2 Sam. 8:17. In 2 Sam.15:24, he was in charge of the Ark, which represents the presence of God, and was a prophet. To the Zadok priesthood the Presence of God is sacred. It is their ministry. They have the right to His presence. The church is deluded into thinking that the Lord is in their meetings. If the worshipers are born again His Spirit is in them, but He cannot enter their meetings. You only find His presence when you find His dwelling place in the Holy of Holies. This realm is a third experience where you come through the rent veil of your flesh into His presence. In Heb. 9 Paul talks of the tabernacle, and in reference to the Holiest of all, in v5 he says that “he cannot now speak particularly”. This was because its revelation was for another generation. Jesus the forerunner has opened the way through the veil of His own flesh, and the same applies to all who would go in there. You cannot enter with the Adamic nature. The Sons of God are a company of believers who found the entry into His presence and have passed through the death of their Adamic nature whilst in their body! Their Adamic nature is replaced with Jesus Divine Nature and when this happens the body is renewed and cannot die. In the Holy of Holies you have actually entered into the fullness of salvation, spirit soul and body. The Sons of God heard a trumpet call and their understanding was opened to this third realm. They chose to enter in.
Ezra who delivered Israel from Babylon (religious bondage) was of the line of Zadok Ezra 7. Ezra had this same zeal that came through Phineas, as he delivered Israel out of Babylon. The Sons of God will deliver the church from Babylon’s bondage and bring them back to spiritual Jerusalem to the Feast of Tabernacles of which they are presently blind.
What the Zadok priesthood understands, is the difference between the holy / profane, and the clean / unclean. This comes from a zeal for the Name of the Lord and His image before the nations. As a priesthood they will teach the difference, and heal the breaches of the corrupt priesthood who put no separation between the Holy, (what is dedicated to the Lord) and the profane, (what is common to the world). The corrupt priesthood make no distinction between the clean and unclean but build unto their own name and glory, in an end time competitive spirit to build church organisations unto themselves.
As far as the Zadok Priesthood goes, it will teach the distinction, the dividing line birthed from a zeal for the Name of the Lord.
Following the sin of the priest Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phineas in 1 Sam.2:27-, the Lord in v35 declared that He would “raise Him up a faithful priest that will do according to that which is in God’s heart and in His mind, and God will build him a sure house and he will walk before His anointed forever”. Beloved, the Sons are that priesthood, as a fully grown person, with the Lord’s heart and mind.
I believe that in Rev.12:6, the Sons will take the church to a higher place and teach her the distinction for 3 1/2 years.
There is a beautiful picture of the Sons of God in Solomon’s Song 4:2 :-
• Sheep from the washing
• Bear twins, “the double portion”
• None barren. They produce fruit
• V4- their strength is as the tower of David
• V6- until the day breaks, and the shadows flee they are in the mountain of myrrh
• and frankincense which speaks of anointing
• V7- there is no spot or blemish
Beloved there is a washing for the Sons of God; IT IS HIDDEN IN THE NAME OF GOD.
“ For surely My Name is pure, My name is so pure and so perfect, and the power and purity of that perfection is the agency of cleansing, and you can achieve not one thing, you cannot be delivered, cleansed, or made perfect without the operation of My name upon you says The Lord. You must inquire of Me for this. It is not just a general hand-out from Me saith the Lord; this is beyond your new birth, and to him who seeks Me and comes before Me, I shall through the operation of My Spirit wash you through My Name”
The Christian church baptizes “in the name of Jesus”, which is more a setting of the credentials of the act.
Acts 22:16, there is a “calling on the NAME OF THE LORD”.
The Sons of God will baptize the church “into the Name’ but this is a separate teaching.
Heb.10:19-22 The only way into the Holy Place is by a New and Living way.
• by the Blood of Jesus
• through the rent flesh
• true heart in full assurance
• hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience
• bodies washed with pure water
THE SONS OF GOD ARE A COMPANY WHO HAVE BEEN WASHED FROM SIN CONSCIOUSNESS.
In the church today the preachers are continually keeping the hearers in the realm of sin consciousness. They keep eating at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
On the cross, Blood and Water flowed from Jesus. In Moses, Heb.9:19, the people were sprinkled with blood and water. Heb. 9:9- ordinances and religious systems will never make perfect the conscience. Jesus blood was shed for the remission of sin, and water flowed from him symbolizing the stream of His Word which would sprinkle the mind from sin consciousness. The church has fallen into the same trap that Israel did in Moses law. They keep consciousness of sin before their face. The power of His Blood and pure Water bring His sons to perfection.
